March 17th, 2004: St. Patrick’s Day. It was on this day that Jonesy
played their first show together as a band. Once the first note was
played, the band and the crowd both knew that something special
was taking place. This was no ordinary band. From that
first show to every single one since, one thing has remained
constant: Jonesy are not just a part of the party.....they ARE
the party.
“Jonesy” is made up of 5 unique personalities from the Niagara
Region. Although only in their early 30’s, these boys are veterans
when it comes to the music scene. Each member has been involved
with various musical projects throughout their lives, some
starting at a very young age. The name “Jonesy” was guitarist
Paul Lalama’s idea, respectively. No one really knows the true
meaning of the name. Paul himself might not even know!
