Biography

Jon Fratelli, born March 4th 1979, is a Scottish musician and songwriter best known for his work with the band The Fratellis. They won the 2007 Brit Award for Best Breakthrough Act and have sold over a million copies of their record Costello Music. He formed the group Codeine Velvet Club in 2009 with Lou Hickey with whom he shares songwriting duties with for about half the tracks on the self-titled album. Jon announced in April that he would be pursuing solo artist status for 2010. He will be touring with the backing band from Codeine Velvet Club due to his fondness for working with the musicians.
