Bio

Jon Hall has been impacted by the greatest of musicians, however unlike most, he has not limited himself to exclusively modern day music. Studying at Cal Poly and receiving his Bachelors Degree in Music at Calpoly University in San luis Obispo California, Jon was given the chance to indulge in classical training. He has been influenced by Guicomo Puccini, Luciano Pavarotti, and many other renown tenors. At Cal poly Jon stood out as a pronounced tenor in both the Polyphonic's choir and the University singers. Along with music, Jon was given a full scholarship out of high school to play on the football team which he stood out and started all 4 years as running back. Jon Hall spends the majority of his time off the field in his home studio listening to artists such as Chris Brown, Drake, Neyo, Jason Derulo, John Mayor, Michael Buble, Eric Church, Josh Turner, Jake Owen, and more. He has not limited himself to specifically pop, country, rock, or classical. What he has done, however is combine his ability in theory, musicianship, with his love for pop and acoustic feel to create a sound which has yet to be tapped into by the musical culture. His ability to write music along with his brilliant past achievements sets him apart from any other artist.

Jon's career as a musician began long before his college career. Around his fifth grade he was given an opportunity to showcase his musical abilities in front of Los Angeles' most well known vocal contractors. He was a standout and was given his first job as a studio musician on Michael Jackson's song, "All I want to say is that they don't really care about us." This led to him being featured on FILMS OFF CAMERA such as, Amistad, Deep Impact, Armaggedon, The Calling, Gappetto, High School Musical 1, Hush, The Jungle Book 2, Instinct, Lilo and Stitch, The Patriot, The Prince of Egypt, Stuart Little 2, Tarzan, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan (the lost boys), The Royal Tenenbaums, and Scream 3. His BACKGROUND VOCAL SHOWS include the Shamu Rocks the World show at Sea world in San Diego California and Florida, Disneyland: Its a small world After All, Holiday songs: Richard Sherman, Make-a-Wish Foundation: Annabel's Wish, and Kimpossible Quartet. The ALBUMS he is on include Kenny Logins Christmas album, Mary Rice Hopkins Children album, Michael Jacksons History album (All I want to say is that they don't really care about us), and Satellite (Youth of the Nation) P.O.D. He was also featured on live on stage performances such as; Los Angeles Philharmonic: Amistad, John Williams Conductor, Donny and Mary Osmond Show with The Transiberian Orchestra: "Promises to Keep," The Drew Carey Show (was his son), American Teacher Awards: closing song choir member, ABC special: "And so this is christmas" featuring Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estephan, and Charlotte Church. Finally, he was featured on a 3 episodes of Boston Public.
Jon strives to take what he has learned in the studio and bring it to his own music. Knowing what is out there has already given him a grasp on how talented one has to be to truly be successful as a musician. He is quite grateful that he has been given these gifts by God to impact people with his music. God is a very important influence in his life and has a large impact on the way that his music evolves.
