Bio

Joni’s desire is for her music to touch people's hearts with the love of Christ, to encourage, give them hope, and relay to people, that might not already have, an awareness of the battle we are all engaged in, whether we choose to be or not; Spiritual Warfare. To tell them, not only the Good News of the Ultimate Victory through Jesus Christ, but also, the victory here on earth through Jesus, and the promises God has given to us in His Word; our weapons of victory in this battle.

Joni is a Christian rock, singer/songwriter. Her mother says Joni was singing right after she started to talk. Just a few years ago, Joni began to feel a call into ministry; specifically singing. Since that time, she has been a member of the choir at her home church, First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of Joni and Diane, an award-winning duet ministry, for about four years.

As a soloist, Joni has worked with Roger Beales, of the Voice House in Atlanta, GA, and Dr. Scott Martin of Colorado's Academy of the Arts, and Jeff McLaughlin of MMGI (McLaughlin Music Group Int'l). She has been a special guest of the nationally known group, the B-Team Angels, sung the National Anthem at Daytona Bike Week for a National Flat Track event, and for several other sporting events. She sings in concert, and for churches, retreats, block parties, etc.

Joni is currently working with producer Cam Devaney of Devaney Music Group, on her debut CD. On this CD, her songs deal with situations and emotions that many of us encounter, and she has been through herself; depression, divorce, being a single/working mom, the death of several loved ones, and Alzheimer’s (her father passed away in Dec. 2005 of complications of this horrific disease). Plus, along with all these, there is the world’s ever-increasing, blatant pull to the dark. "But through it all, there’s that amazing bright light in every situation...the saving Grace, and Love of Jesus. He knows each one of us and what we are facing, and He holds us, and brings us through it, if we trust and let Him", she says.
