Biography

Jon grew up in Shelby Twp, Michigan. He began playing guitar and singing at the age of 9. Throughout high school, He played in various rock/alternative bands at coffee houses, youth venues, high schools, and more. By the time he turned 16, he had already played every major venue in Detroit (at least once) and had recorded a CD. Jon also played solo and duo acoustic cover gigs on the side, playing about 4 hours a night (two-three times a week) and playing songs from his pop/rock repertoire of 200 covers.

At the age of just 17, Jon moved out to Hollywood, California to attend Musicians Institute. After attending just one quarter, Jon left the school after landing a gig with Mandi Perkins (Sony/BMG). Jon has since toured the U.S. with Mandi, appeared with her on Sirius Satellite Radio & Voice of America, and also has been co-writing with her.

Jon's Solo Debut EP, "FIVE ONE SIX" was released March 2009!
