Jon King

Jon king has quickly become a recognizable name here on the Seacoast. His band has played shows in and around the New England area for years and has built a substantial following. Kings music is a blend of blues and rock, with emphasis on guitar.

I grew up with really good music echoing through the walls of my house. Old blues guys like Howlin Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson every Sunday night on college radio, and they stuck in my head. It was a positive experience being turned on to the old and the retro before listening to new music.

Jon King was born and raised in York, Maine, a small coastal town located in the southern most portion of the state. He has performed since the age of 15 and won best vocals in the Maine State Rock Off in 2006 at the age of 18. He hasnt looked back since.

In the last couple of years I have really focused on writing, recording and performing as well as creating a strong multimedia presence.

Since Kings entry into the industry Jon has toured around the Northeast, recorded an EP consisting of four songs and put together a band whos members hail from Portland, ME to Boston, MA.

I aim to write songs that people can relate to by making a familiar vibe feel fresh and new.while melting their faces.
