Jon Meade

Jon Meade is an established singer-songwriter and guitarist out of Chattanooga, TN. He began playing piano and guitar before the age of 10. As he became a teenager he began playing with several different bands and gained a lot of experience playing at several fundraising events, local venues, and talent shows. Once he turned 18 years old, he moved to Macon, GA to go to school at Mercer University where he studied classical guitar and classical voice for two years. Shortly after his second year, he moved back to Chattanooga where he plays local venues, bars, and cafes weekly.

Depending on the performance setting, he either plays alone or with a group. In these groups, there are different combinations of musicians including an extra guitarist, a drummer, a bassist, a keyboard player, and other various instruments. These fellow musicians often perform with him under several band names including "The Jon Meade Three," "Jon Meade," "Jon Meade Group," and other related names.

His songs explore and experiment with several different influences including acoustic, blues-rock, funk, folk, pop, and soul. His guitar-driven style corresponds to his raw vocals in a unique way. With his love of the guitar, you can expect to hear heartfelt guitar solos which leave audiences begging for more.
