Becoming more and more known, Jon has been an opening act for many nationally-known artists such as Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, and Josh Turner. Last year the Jon Miller Band followed up a 38 special show at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi and opened for Mobile-favorite Wet Willie at the Greater Gulfstate Fairgrounds.

The past fifteen years has seen Jon performing a wide variety of venues across the Gulf Coast including the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi, Hank Aaron Stadium, Lulu's at Homeport, Felix's Fish Camp, BayFest, Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival, The Frank Brown Songwriter's Festival, The Blue Bird Cafe, The Hangout in Gulf Shores, and the Greater Gulf state Fairgrounds. He has also been featured in many different media including 95KSJ, the Press Register, Fox 10, WKRG, NBC 15, the nationally-syndicated morning tv show The Daily Buzz, and the syndicated radio show Writer's Block w/ Karen Reynolds. He has hosted and produced "Songwriter's Night at Serda's Coffee Co." for the Mobile / Pensacola viewing area and is also a regular guest musician on the popular Uncle Henry Show.

In 2008 Jon had his first taste of chart success as a song that he wrote, Choice, became a #2 song on the Country Christian Weekly Charts for Danny Ray Harris. The song was also nominated for Song of the Year in the Inspirational Country Music Awards. 2008 also saw Jon selected as a finalist in CMT.com's Music City Madness with his song "Let Me" which was also nominated for Country Song of the Year in the 2009 international Just Plain Folks Awards, honoring independent musicians around the world.

This year Jon has been promoting his fourth Nashville release called Blessin's & Lessons. He intends to keep pursuing his dreams, entertaining people with his music, and building his growing fan base.
