Bio
Jon Mark Nite was born and grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He was immersed in a family of music. Mom played piano, Dad led the church choir, his sister sang alto, and his brother was an cellist touring the world while in high school. Jon resisted the family tradition until his teen years when he fell in love with country music. He dove head first into writing songs that resonated with his struggle to overcome. After graduation, Jon moved to Nashville to pursue music. He was able to stumble through Belmont University only with the scholarships from a life-long friend and through multiple jobs. During his time at Belmont, he was asked to sing on a Christmas project for Glen Campbell that was later nominated for a Grammy and Dove award. In the musical journey since, Jon has steadily worked at honing his craft while recording demos for numerous songwriters. In the last year, he has had songs on hold with multiple major recording artists in Nashville. Currently you can see him performing venues like the Bluebird Cafe or a weekend set with an amazing band off Broadway. For more information, see www.jonnite.com.
