Discography

We recorded the EP ‘Shadows’. The three tracks, ‘Make a Change’, ‘If You’re Alone’ and ‘Sunday Rain’ made a big impact at some of the best venues in the country. Our next EP was ‘Chasing Rainbows’. which contained the tracks ‘Chasing Rainbows’, ‘Broken Arrow’ and ‘Crazy’. This again made an impact and many more gigs were booked and played due to its quality, propelling the band to greater heights. KL FM and Fen Radio have both played some of our tracks.

Bio

After jamming in many different bands for over ten years, with countless musicians coming and going, Paul along with his brother John decided to get DazyCutter of the ground.

“We decided to set about writing some original songs and soon realised we had something special with a nucleus to create a solid unit with a very big sound.
Our next step was to find another guitarist. Steve, an experienced musician who had studied at London’s Guitar Institute had written an advert in Ad-Trader looking for a pro-minded band. We all had the same ideas about which direction we wanted the music to take us and the next step was to find a quality rhythm section.
We found the drummer we wanted in Terry, he had also studied music at London’s Musicians Institute. At the time he was playing in a London based band but we got him along for a jam and impressed him enough to join us.
Soon we were playing London’s Infinity Club, The Cherry Jam, the Archway Tavern and most notably Liverpool’s Cavern Club and Cambridge’s ‘Pop in the Park’.
With another headline gig under our belts at Liverpool’s Cavern Club with Thirteen Senses on the undercard , we headlined the Over Carnival in front of over 5000 people and then supported The Stranglers and Wishbone Ash at the prestigious Rockinbeerfest 3 months later.
February ‘05 saw the band take on a different bassist. Fred tore into the old material and had a big input in the writing of new tracks for the forthcoming album.
May ‘05 saw us record it. The Live album, with all the latest material was recorded and mixed inside 4 days and features the tracks ‘Inside of You’, ‘Amsterdam’ and ‘Sometimes’ to name just a few.
Another hugely successful Cavern gig was played in June ‘05
Davy joined us in 2006 , a musician who studied at Trinity Music college in London. After writing some haunting keyboard arrangements, the sound came together and the line up was most definately complete. With our new name Jonny 591 we are ready for the opportunities that are out there.
