Bio

What is Danger? Danger breeds fear and fear stems from the unfamiliarity of ones surroundings and situations. But when one opens his or her mind to and familiarizes oneself to the hypocrisy and lies that surrounds his or her life everyday, that person becomes Dangerous to the establishment that strives to keep that person ignorant and uninformed. It is to this end that Jonny Danger was born.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear. I'm not a gangsta, I don't rhime about money, cars, and living lavish. I don't rap about it because I can't relate. If you can relate, then by all means, rap about it. You do you, I'll do me. I'm an Ivy League educated kid who came from a two parent home and grew up on the "right" side of the tracks. I've traveled the world, and been exposed to things that most people will never get to experience. I've had hard times in my life, but for the most part they haven't been financial. They've been addiction related, relationship related, and basically knowledge related. When I say knowledge related, I refer to the phrase "ignorance is bliss." This is true, the less you know, the less you are exposed to, the more likely you could care less about the world, and how it affects you.

Both fortunately, and unfortunately, I've been over educated in a sense. I've seen and experienced so many things in my life that I feel as if I am qualified to speak on a multitude of issues and situations. Unfortunately, because of my exposure to "life" I am also exposed to the harsh reality that many things will not be changed, and the path to change is one filled with hurdles and obstacles that would crush a lesser man/mind. Not to be conceited, but I feel as if I'm not a lesser man so I have chosen to walk this path.

Each one of the M7 Crew understand that we are part of a movement in hip hop. The movement revolves around educating yourself and applying to what you've learned to your everday life. That is what our music, and our lyrics strive to do. And each one of us, Rhime Divine (Ted James and D-Wattz), Nick Jones, 2mental, and myself have a unique way of putting perspective on the world around us through our music. All of us have led different lives, had different experiences, and have different passions. But it is the movement that brings us together.

For myself, my music is something internal, something created out of emotions, analysis, and understanding. It is my goal for you to listen to my album, or one of my tracks, and understand who I am, what I believe, and what I've been through. I want you to connect with what I'm saying and for it to have an effect on your life no matter how small the effect. That is my contribution to our movement.
