Jonny Ford and the Baldja Boys are rapdily establishing themselves as one of the leading Aboriginal bands coming out of the west. Their unique and entertaining brand of Country Rock enables people of all ages, to have a great time and let themselves go by tapping their feet or rocking it out.


Jonny Ford is a Noongar man born and raised in Perth WA. Jonny first started performing at the age of 16 in highschool bands and later studied music at the Aboriginal Music College (ABMUSIC) in Bentley WA. After a solo performance in the Indigenous Cultural Showcase at Tamworth in 2010, which one him a spot in the final act and an opportunity to perform live on the Indigenous National Radio Station. The Baldja Boys have been performing together for 3 years, specialising in country instrumentals, the band has transformed into country rock monster. Featuring one of the wonders of the world 13 year old lead guitarist Alex Little, certainly an amazing site to see. Since coming together to form Jonny Ford and the Baldja Boys they have perfomed all over WA from Kalgoorlie, down to Collie and as far north as Newman. Yet to release any official recording they have completed their first demo, laying down 4 original tracks. They have peformed at significicant events such as NAIDOC Perth 2011 and the Fremantle Wardanji Festival 2011 and has established a strng grass roots following among the Aboriginal community.
