Bio
Having grown up in the age where video games hit their stride, Jonny Nero has always had an unhealthy love with the sounds of the 8bit era. Gaming has always been a heavy inspiration in Jonny's musical style, a style he has molded for over 10 years.
With his discovery of the chiptunes movement in late 2008, he finally found a way to bring his two loves together. Taking cues from bands like Anamanaguchi, Death From Above 1979, Bloc Party, and the games from his youth, Jonny melds the tones of a Nintendo gameboy, with a more traditional dance rock guitar, with the occasional gameboy solo.
With songs about Daleks, a zombie apocalypse, and his hatred of Twilight, Jonny has no qualms wearing his nerd on his sleeve. His high energy shows (to match his high energy music), however, breaks all stereotypes of Nerds and Geeks around. This, along with his ability to create poppy, traditional riffs, ensure that fans of all types will always have a good time while experiencing the Action Hero
