Bio

Jonny Sculls wants to rock you out of this world- literally. Alongside his goals of releasing an album every year, Sculls dreams of being the first musician to perform on the moon. He describes his writing as "creep core," a mix of creepy, dirty subjects, set with sweet love songs and beautiful melodies. He has always been a fan of The Cure and Depeche Mode, but also of Tom Waits and Guns N Roses and it's clear in his songs. His lyrics serve as a reflection of the duality of his personality and his originality.

His interest in music was first ignited when he was six years old and saw Elvis perform on television. Both his mother and Aunt stopped what they were doing and dropped to their knees bowing to the King. Sculls so impressed by Presley’s performance and the effect it had on his mother and Aunt that he started playing music shortly after.

A San Francisco native he started playing in bands in 5th grade. At 15 years old he formed a 10 piece band called Natt that gained notoriety locally and went on to be signed by Capitol Records. The recorded an album with Toby Miller and Bill Appleberry titled Cradle of My Humanity. After 8 years they decided to part and Sculls went on to form Mouth To Mouth. Mouth to Mouth released two albums My Fee is Lust and Resuscitation both independently. After 5 years the band parted and Sculls moved to Los Angeles.

In Los Angeles Sculls decided to pursuer a solo career and began writing and recording an album with Chris Fudurich. Along with recording he performed in venues along the West Coat both with a full band and acoustically. Realizing his love for both aggressive electric and the softer acoustic he decided to release two versions of his upcoming release Pink Linoleum.
