Webster’s dictionary defines the word obsession as, among other things, a compelling motivation. Jon Sablich has an obsession; he is obsessed with the creation of music. It is the compelling motivation of his life.
Music is what defines him. It is the core of his existence and on most days he considers this a blessing – some days it can feel like a curse.
Married with a young son, Jon spends all of the spare time he can find immersed in creation. Song writing is his passion. His music reflects the truth of life; a life that has given him a lot of raw material to write about. GOD, Alcoholism, death, love, loss, even time served, these are the issues that have made him the man that he is today.
Real life experience is essential to being a great songwriter. Every time Jon picks up his guitar, he challenges himself to tell you a story in under four minutes complete with a melody that you can't get out of your head.
A musician’s life is never easy but when you live with the ultimate desire to create, you ride the wave until it takes you to shore.
