"Harriet Schock (Grammy winning Songwriter"

"In ‘Be Lonely with Me, ‘ Jon Statham poignantly communicates the type of comfort which can be offered only by someone who’s been there—in fact is STILL there –and, therefore, totally understands. The music perfectly sets the well-crafted lyric."

- "That Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady"

"Wayne Carson (Songwriter)"

"There's something here with this guy that you won't find anywhere else. This boy's special and reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger."

- "Always On My Mind", "The Letter"

"Music Connection Demo Critiques"

Statham's music is commercial and appealing in myriad ways, with a sweet echo of James Taylor. "Sara" introduces the artist's warm vocal presence. "The Last of Her Kind" is a poignant well-written number-just a beautiful arrangement and production. "All By Heart" is an epic love ballad with a touch of country twang, showing that Statham could connect in Nashville if he tried.
In any case, a smart A&R rep would be smart to check out this mainstream songsmith. - Music Connection

Bio

After attending Berklee College of Music in Boston Jon set out to hone his songwriting skills playing clubs with his heavy rock band 5lb. Opinion and coffeehouses with his acoustic songs in upstate New York.

In 2000, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his artistic goals. Within one year he began writing with Latin pop star Alejandro Lerner from Argentina and recently had his song "Texas Bloom" placed in the upcoming DVD film "Once Upon A Time In Cuba".

In June 2005, Jon traveled to Nashville at the invite of Wayne Carson, the Country Music Hall of Fame Inductee and writer of "Always On My Mind" and a dozen other hits.

The two walked in to RPM music on Music Row with Jon's new recordings.
Before listening, Wayne had the floor:

"Boys, there's something here with this guy that you won't find anywhere else. This boy's special and reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger."

When the toetapping commenced, it was agreed that RPM would be accepting more material from Jon as well looking for country artists to record his songs.

Jon's current 3 song CD release has, through only word of mouth and at twice a week shows, has sold 2500 thus far.
