Bio

Ever since an early age, Jordan Madani always knew in the back of his mind that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of some of his biggest aspirations and perform infront of thousands. And so far, he'd say it was going pretty well. At only 17 years old, a singer/songwriter from a small suburban village called Standish has already showcased his whimsical Indie/Pop originals to the masses, been critically acclaimed, broadcasted on numerous radio stations and almost whipped up by a major london-based record company.

At just 13, Jordan wrote his first song days after being inspired by his first live experience, watching Coldplay at the MEN arena during their Viva La Vida tour. Although his starter efforts were snubbed, describing them as 'Absolutely cringeworthy, I had bins full of emotionless attempts. My songwriting techniques were dire at the time, I didn't even have a clue what a verse or chorus were!' Nontheless, he soon took a turn for the better and he began to realise his songwriting drastically improved over the next year or two leading up to the completion of his EP.

For a short time in 2011, Jordan signed to a local independent label (Major Sinner) and the recording of his debut EP went underway. Prior to the completion of the 6-track record, Jordan and Major Sinner parted ways in February 2012 due to unforseen circumstances.

Currently, Jordan is working with the Sugar House Music production team, recording his first single 'Press Start' in April 2012. The release date of Jordan's debut single is set for release on the 20th August 2012 on all major online retailers including iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.

Jordan: " I am really looking forward to the release of Press Start! This will be the first original song that everyone will be able to hear and purchase in its final form and I have a good feeling it's gonna go down well with the right promotion."

"The track really gives off quite a feel-good vibe, I can imagine people listening to this on a sunny day, whilst they're walking to college or work. Although the lyrics are quite the opposite, they can be quite scandalous and spiteful especially in the second verse. I wanted to include a hint of controversy in my first single, it might just get people talking."

The recording of the EP went back underway with the team at Sugar House in July 2012 with rumours the 6-track EP will be looking at a December 2012 release date.
