Jorge was 19 when he caught the attention of legendary composer and Amália musician Carlos Gonçalves, who decided to call Jorge for a show with the greatest fado singer of all times. He would be at her side for the following six years.
Meanwhile, Jorge Fernando was maturing as a composer and creating his own style. And after years of becaming one of the most important composers in Portugal,for all genres of music, produced the debut records by two of the greatest female fado singers of the present: Mariza and Ana Moura.
