Things Changed

Written By: Joron Willz & Miles Moore

I’ve been dipped in the water man, I done changed a lotta thangs/ Focused I hit the ground runnin’ like Jonny Lang/ and I know I’ma go through a lotta pain, but it’s all a blessin’ ‘cause I’m no longer locked in chains/ And I know I deserve a pierce on the side for my iniquiti, but the Lamb took mine/ And the word feels so sweet, it’s like the 4th year it make my soul leap/ Made me change like $7.50, self dead as a deer who met a Ford goin 60/ Won’t see me shiftin’ like tailor made Yahweh’s the only god that can fit me/ Holdin’ on to the water, even my dreams seen the light/ stepped up in the room and my clothes turned white/ I was made righteous, thangs change ‘cause I realized I was invited.
[Chorus]
Cain’t you tell? By the way that I walk and the way that I talk that I’m a changed man?
You see the holiness in my strut. Man I done changed up and I feel like a brand new man.
Jesus gave me a second chance and that’s why I, I feel like a brand new man.
Jesus gave me a second chance and that’s why I, I feel like a brand new man.

I’m forgiven by the son who had died who was risen, so I made a decision to take a stand, now I ‘m a changed man/ From the deepest depths of my soul to the surface I found my purpose, no longer feel worthless, livin’ holy in the midst of serpents/ So Lord of Hosts hold me close so that I can overdose on a heavy dose of the Holy Ghost in the heat of this furnace/ And take heed to the sermons of righteous prophets put before me every story in the book of glory or the devil will burn us/ I’m a soldier for Jehovah born in St. Paul Minnesota with no roaster in a holster on the sword of the Lord/ As I walk the narrow path that leads me to my destiny, I will fear no demons or heathens that try to step to me/ I wanna reach everybody from the street to the church, those on the block servin’ rock, with a glock and not in their sock/ The Lord is coming back whether you believe it or not, so take heed as we proceed to the drop.
[Chorus]
I was high when I wrote this/ Off the spirit and didn’t leave no roaches/ Just as you thought that the game was hopeless/ Brigade rush to scene with bars full of potion/ To cure your ailments see/ You ain’t had no meat, no milk or honey, chokin’ off a stale MC/ looklin’ frail and diseased, so we bring Jesus/ And you didn’t even know that’s what you needed.
[Chorus]

Mind Runnin'

Written By: Joron Willz

Mind Runnin’

So, I’m on my to church/ To get the gas tank filled up/ From grinding to work/ I got so much build up/ the service is like Drano/ Praise Him and let the pain go/ Get my head right like a Kangol/ Before I hit a lick I give props to my Pops/ ‘Cause He’s the chief musician with all the chops/ ‘Cause I understand the limits of man/ I mean the limits of me/ So I ask Him to touch me/ Take my cup, fill it/ Here’s my flesh; kill it/ Use my gift it’s Yours to lift the body’s spirits/ On the Lord I meditate/ But wait…why the ushers sit the dime piece right in my face/ In the front and I can’t front, but I try/ Tilt my head to the sky back to focus on God/ But when I glance back at the congregation/ She be breaking my concentration and I can’t stop.

[Chorus]
I can’t stop my mind from runnin’

But what if she’s the one/ Maybe the prototype/ A bad one with brains and a ferver for Christ/ Just the kind I like/ Then I better be right/ Checking sure my character and my motives is tight, right?/ Nope!/ Get a handle/ We ain’t changing for man dude I read Mathew/ I should clean up for Christ like a first date/ He’s looking inside, so I’m a get that straight/ However, I do recollect a dream where I welcome in His presence/ I wasn’t clean yet/ And while He was making my clothes new/ I left so I could change my shoes/ I should’ve let Him finish doing what He do/ But I can’t see how God bless me/ It seems I test Him more than He tests me/ But I still want Him/ Got my mind runnin, and wondering racing like a track meet/ To Traxx’s beats.

[Chorus]

But I can’t stop my mind from running/ Like after the gun in circles/ God, music, and girls/ The Word, beats and girls/ ‘Cause everything the preacher say/ Take me through the time and rewind me of the diamond that got away/ Just like when I pray/ I feel pathetic/ I say her name everyday/ It’s like I can’t let her go/ And she’s so cold/ to my existance/ WHOA! We need another road. (Some thing good, something good)
Yeah. I’m a blessed man (blessed man) Even though I ain’t the best man/ Jehovah be holding me down/ Turning my frowns upside down/ Like a headstand/ It’s just the way that He treats me/ Through prophets keeps speaking/ Teaching me concerned with my well being/ Oops! Pastors still preaching/ But I can’t stop.

[Chorus]

My Lord

Written By: Joron Willz, Unit 7, Miles & E Klass

This is the song of rejoice go ‘head and raise your voice,
Lift your hands high and holler AMEN!
This is the song of rejoice go ‘head and raise your voice,
Lift your hands high and holler AMEN!

I’ve been experiencing eloquent fantasies ecstasy exalting eternally His elegant majesties/ Accepted me before I rid myself of iniquity/ Invited me to His glory in dreams and in reality/
I’m in love with the Great Wonder/ Wanna get deep with Him 2000 leagues under/ ‘Cause life is non-existent without the Holy King the Supreme Being, got me juiced like off of Ginseng/ And like the dude who stood you up this is no show/ That’s why I lift my hands in my room with the door closed/ 2 points scored against you Jehovah’s the answer/ drag corpses in the sanctuary they come out dancing/ Without the King of kings I’d have no purpose/ He’s who my whole life’s based on servin’/ ‘cause even if I was the last one to live after Him/ Christ still would have died for my sins.

[Chorus]
I couldn’t do nothin’ without my Lord x3
I couldn’t do nothin’ without Him
This is the song of rejoice go ‘head and raise your voice,
Lift your hands high and holler AMEN!
This is the song of rejoice go ‘head and raise your voice,
Lift your hands high and holler AMEN!

When them praises rise up, them blessings fall/ If wasn’t for the Lord I wouldn’t be rappin’ at all/ Gave me the words to speak to bring it to y’all/ Sing hallelujah ‘till I can’t breath no more/ Got my knees locked to the floor, hands together, praying to the Father please take me out of the storm/ It’s like we’re living in the Christian Holocaust these days/ But Satan can’t take us out ‘cause yo we’re strapped with grace/ From the most reliable source/ He’s the one who died on the cross/ Forgave me for the time I was lost/ Man it’s a struggle everyday just to correct my thoughts/ For the sin in my life/ And now it’s time to start off my new beginning/ ‘Cause this is our chance to shine/ Got the Lord on our side so it’s time to rise/ Ain’t nothing stopping His plan so it’s best you comply/ Thank you Jesus for that invitation up in the sky.

[Chorus]

Where would I be without my Lord I don’t even want to think about it/ But I got Him now so I say it loud ’cause I’m proud to shout it/ It’s a brighter day ‘cause I found my way and there’s no doubt about it/ I’m here to guide others and show we accept them all as brothers/ Protected from every arrow ‘cause I’m walking the straight and narrow/ I know He’s watching me because His eye is upon the sparrow / I thank Jehovah ‘cause He turned me from a kid to man and from a man to a soldier/ I give Him praise ‘till my days is over.

The Devil is a cheat and a lie/ He can’t hear my prayers speaking in tongues/ Can’t look me in my eye/ I’ve never had a love like Christ before/ The type of love that I really just can’t ignore/ And a fast improves E-Class/ Putting all that wackness aside and let the old memories pass/ Because I’m ‘bout to move on/ Like I’m moving on up/ I still be out there in the world like, “What’s up?”/ They be like, “E you really changed.”/ I be like yeah I changed you come or either stay the same/ You come and get some comfort, or be deranged/ or you come with God and fly high like planes/ So if you got dirty plans/ If you got dirty pans you need to wash your dirty hands/ ‘Cause I’m marching with God/ You need to come along/ Or either sing the same old song because/

[Chorus]
