Standing on the shore while her water glistens in the morning sun
Ancient wisdom says that the voices in the waves sing her song
Sailboat in the distance, her water makes the way for the ride
Sails to the horizon, going where the summer breeze decides

Huron shows her face to the sky
Widows weep for sailors gone, and echoes from the blue waters cry
Huron

Meet me in the morning, we’ll watch as the sunrise paints the sky
A myriad of colors, reflected in the lake and in your eyes
Feel the soft wind blowing, as it filters through your hair into my soul
A new day beginning, I’d love to feel your touch before you go

Huron shows her face to the sky
Widows weep for sailors gone, and echoes from the blue waters cry
Huron

Drums, Flute, Wind
(Keyboard)

The water softly churning, as you turn your head and make your way to go
Can’t you hear my voice calling for the one I love, the one I know
Listen to the whispers, as the waves gently lap onto the shore
The one who loves you calling from the waters where I died so long ago

Huron shows her face to the sky
Widows weep for sailors gone, and echoes from the blue waters cry
Huron

Drums, Flute, Wind
(Keyboard)

So meet me in the morning, we’ll watch as the sunrise greets the sky
A myriad of colors, dancing in the lake and in your eyes
Feel the soft wind blowing, as it filters through your hair into my soul
A new day beginning, I long to feel your touch before you go

And Huron shows her face to the sky
Widows weep for sailors gone, and echoes from the blue waters cry
Huron
