When this beautiful woman of God first opens her mouth and sings – the anointing hits you. Joselyn Spencer delivers a rich, penetrating sound that is as smooth as it is soulful. For years she has poured out her heart and spirit in song, and now her worship gift is available for the masses to enjoy on her new debut album, In the Presence of God.
She’s had the opportunity to open for Gospel greats like Helen Baylor, Earl Bynum, Kim Rutherford, and Bubby Fan, to name a few. Joselyn was the guest artist for the annual “Battle of the Bay Classic” basketball game in Norfolk, VA, and will host the annual “AFRAM FEST” in Norfolk, VA this upcoming June.
Working with Joshua Head, the executive producer of her album In the Presence of God, Joselyn set her incredible vocals to contemporary and acoustic Gospel backdrops with a fresh flavor that encompasses not one but all of the favorite praise and worship elements that Gospel lovers adore. Joselyn joined fellow Gospel Artists Frank Caldwell, Pastor James T. Elam and Joshua Head. From quiet worship to praise jams, In the Presence of God is truly special, and reaches everyone.
Joselyn says her true desire for her music is that it will usher in the presence of God for everyone who listens, and help people find healing and solutions for their problems. “I want people to enter into the presence of God through my music. When they sing my songs, I want God to come through and help them out of their bad situations.”
