Josephine’s destructive stage presence and speaker popping recordings have solidified a loyal fan base that is crowding venues all over the South East. Soulfully emotive melodies led by Ryan’s classically trained vocals, elegantly combined with Carl’s self-taught and brutally honest approach to Rock n’ Roll guitar playing, provide for an awesome contrast reflecting their lyrical-hard rock influences. That contrast plays with your ears and sometimes scares them into submission. Jordan Hume and Dale Mears provide a prolific foundation of driving rhythmic lines with a carnivorous elegance that engulfs any listener.

Josephine recorded Josephine EP with twenty-year production veteran, Eric Medley in 2005. Medley was able to capture the essence of Josephine with his old-school, no-nonsense approach to making records while still being an encyclopedia of new-age techniques allowing for new and interesting recordings. They’re currently writing material for a new album to be released later this year.
