Hailing from Colorado, Joseph Tonelli is a driven, passionate and earnest singer-songwriter whose music bridges the gaps between Justin Townes Earle's Americana storytelling and Bon Iver's ethereal soundscapes.
Joseph's music is refreshingly stripped down to the bare essentials, allowing
the sheer evocative power of his lyricism to shine through the sparse arrangements and direct song formats, making for a mood that feels timeless,
yet highly individual and character-driven.
Joseph is passionate about the inherent poetry of music. Inspired by lyrical
giants such as Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Iron and Wine, and Neil Young, he views
every song as an opportunity to make a genuine connection. After many years and
a long spiritual roundabout, Joseph is grateful for the opportunity to be
creating and sharing his music again.
