Raised in Southern Illinois and now residing in "The Gateway To The West" this singer/songwriter serves up a down home remedy of roots, blues, originals and old time tunes with STYLE, SOUL and a lot of HEART . "UJ" started performing his own blend of music on stage in 2004 as one of the few Emerging Artists choosen by the Sonny Boy Blues Society for The 20th Annual Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival (formerly the King Biscuit Blues Festival), in Helena Arkansas. The Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival is ranked as one of the Top 10 Music Events by Festivals.com; was recognized by Travelocity as one of the 200 destination spots for 2005; and is one of the largest blues music events in the country, with an average annual attendance of 85,000 over 3 days. "UJ" continues to perform in Missouri, Illinois and Arkansas at festivals, wineries and clubs year round.
