in 2017s deep summer, Josh Travis gathered a constructed guild of musicians to release a full-band EP, Landlocked, documenting his current vulnerability and self-analysis. American idealism, faithful catechisms, and desperate pride in relationships of all forms are some of the expenses in Travis̢۪s melodic, thoughtful album; which is laced with vulnerable melodies and hypnotizing instrumentations. Holistically, the album is his confession of imperfection and a dedication to asking the questions of the heart.
