Josh Cogan

Josh Cogan is a North Carolina native. Having relocated to the DFW area in Texas in July of 2011, he is the Interim Youth & Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church in Ferris, TX in addition to currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Worship Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. He has literally been playing music forever, starting violin lessons at age 3 and switching to the cello at 5. He fell in love with songwriting when he was in 9th grade and has played in bands of many different genres over the years, in and out of clubs, venues, and churches. Pursuing all types of music over the years and being in church since he was born (his father is a Lutheran Pastor) eventually led him to being called into leading others to worship through music. Josh is an active member with ASCAP and has 2 solo albums out, one of which ("We Worship You") is available on iTunes. Josh is also the current drummer for Racing Gravity (www.racingravity.com)
