Josh Cremer Trio

BandBluesPop

The Josh Cremer Trio fuses blues, pop and funk to create songs that you can move to. Their polished improvisational style brings new life to the blues.

Biography

The Josh Cremer Trio is made up of Josh Cremer, Jon Schenck, and Eddie Wheeler. Cremer grew up playing bluegrass fiddle and mandolin. His transition to the guitar was as natural as his easy vocal tone. Jon and Eddie grew up playing music together in many ensembles that ranged in style from jazz and funk to contemporary Christian worship. When the three first collaborated together they knew that they had something special. Josh’s energy, Eddie’s technical groove, and Jon’s deep pocket merged like they had been playing together for years.

Each of the Trio’s songs is a mixture of fat groove, greasy guitars, and smart lyrics. The Trio’s first recorded work, a 6 song EP entitled “Photograph”, features Cremer’s clever lyrical jabs. Schenck and Wheeler provide a groove that has an uncanny way of leaving just enough space for Cremer’s vocals and guitar leads to peak through.

The Trio really feels at home in front of any crowd. Their live shows exhibit the band’s individual talents and engage the audience. The Trio has played many venues from coffee houses to outdoor arenas aside fire dancers.

Born from the marriage of Blues, Rock, and Funk the Josh Cremer Trio delves deep into music past to make a fresh sound that transcends genre.
