The best kept secret in music
Press
"To see a musician consistently fill a room with their own crowd - which Josh Dillard does - is one thing.
To see a musician quiet the crowd of the act he is opening for as soon as he starts his opening song is something special.
Josh's live show is magnificent. After his set, it is not an uncommon thing to hear first timers talk about how his songs resonate deeply in their hearts. It is magnificent."

Bio
Josh Dillard is a walking period piece.
By the looks of him, a vortex most likely opened in the sky, sucked him out of 1972 and spit him out in the 21st century.
Luckily, he's neat.
So is his music.
Josh Dillard crafts folk tunes concerning hurt and loss and burden.
They are woven together by threads of love and hope.
Jackson Browne & Bob Dylan would be proud.
They are who he was eating with when the vortex opened.
Josh Dillard was born in 1981.
The vortex theory has just been thrown out the window.
Josh Dillard has shared the stage with some relatively fantastic songsmiths.
Katie Herzig, Trace Bundy, Aaron Strumpel, and Eric Peters to name a few.
Oh...and don't forget Playdough.
He's a rapper.
Drop a beat.
Josh Dillard had a cover band in college.
He left school in Colorado and moved to Ohio to pursue music...because it makes his heart beat .
The music. Not Ohio.
He ended up delivering mail and almost lost his mind.
After a bike ride to California, he moved back to Colorado.
He loves his mother.
He desires to work with the poor, so he went back to school.
Josh Dillard released "The Kate E.P." in February 2007.
He carries the album in a blue, hard-shell suitcase that smells like cigarettes.
He wants you to hear it.
Josh Dillard loves you.
