"...Josh Duffy has released an amazing full length CD that is not only refreshing, but quite unique and incredibly well-produced. The disc is called ARTIFICIAL.
One thing I really dig about this album is how all the elements not only stand strong alone, but also combine so smoothly without overwhelming each other. There is balance going on here, from the emotionally raw - yet controlled - guitar riffs to the deep arpeggio electronics - and of course the perfectly executed and layered vocals.
MY favorite track on the album is "Safe". It demonstrates everything I have just desrcibed, so "Bravo, bro." This is flawless."

Bio
The musical as well as theatrical talents of singer/songwriter Josh Duffy mirror the uniqueness, appeal, fun, and festivity of the place he calls home, New Orleans. At 12 years-old, this Crescent City native made his musical debut, at none other than the Hollywood Bowl, as a flautist in the prestigious Disney’s Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra.
Fast forward to Josh’s 2007 Pop/Rock debut album “Artificial”. Josh’s singing, songwriting and creativity garnered four Top-20 hits on Sirius/XM radio as well as established play on US local as well as Canadian FM radio. (KPFT 90.1FM - Houston, WFMF 102.5FM - Baton Rouge, KROX 101.5FM - Austin)
In 2009, Josh was approached by singing duo Jason & deMarco (who appear in “What If Life”) to record their version of Josh’s original song “Safe”. It would become the theme song of the organization known as the Safe Affirming Family Environment (SAFE). Josh was more than pleased to
contribute to the safe cause of helping foster youths abandoned by their foster parents upon the knowledge of them being gay.
Film and television credits include being cast as college student Ben Loomis opposite John Goodman (professor Creighton Burnette) in HBO’s critically acclaimed drama “Treme”, a national campaign spokesmodel for Harrah’s Casino, and a cameo appearance in “National Lampoon: Dirty Movie”.
Josh’s singer/songwriter passion will be heard again July 4th, 2013 with his latest release “Our Love”.
