Josh is an acoustic indie singer songwriter who’s influences range from Bob Dylan to Tom Waits to Bright Eyes to Wilco. He has been called everything from “little raspy and wrecked Leonard Cohen” to a guy who writes “beatnik showtunes.” His music stresses lyrical content, which has won him multiple awards throughout his career.
After releasing his album “Bridges and Tunnels” in 2004, Josh traveled the country playing small venues and café’s throughout the country. After touring Josh returned home to play more shows in the New York area.
His last album, "Scenes From A Bathroom Window" (March 2006 on DVP Records) has been garnishing critical acclaim. After a release show party at The Bitter End, Josh went on a tour of the east coast playing small venues and college.

Recently Josh has been working at The Shack (his self-owned studio) recording his third album "I Rob Thief." He also recently began working on a story-album with Pat Llewellyn, which can only be described as a musical menagerie of mystical mishaps.
