Shrieking teenyboppers thronged the barricades with outstretched hands — some weeping their tweenie hearts out — when teenage music sensations Burnham and Josh Golden headlined at CenterStage at Aviator Brooklyn on Saturday.
The outdoor concert space at historic Floyd Bennett Field, which hosted the legendary likes of Eddie Money, Don McLean and Blue Oyster Cult over the summer, morphed into a starry-skied arena for the baby-faced crooners who twanged and belted out a sweet selection of their crowd-pleasing hits during the Radio Disney production.

Sixteen-year-old Golden, a Chesterfield, Mo., native who exploded onto the scene last year as a finalist in Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing contest, raised the tempo several octaves when he flung a water bottle into the audience, creating an ear-splitting buzz among his groupies who honed in for the keepsake like bees to a honeypot — all to honor a singer whose musical career skyrocketed when he posted his original songs online and gained more than 100,000 fans on MySpace.
“My dream is to share my music all over the world,” Golden has said. That wish came true certainly in Brooklyn where a rapt audience clung to every melodious word of the singing sensation, whose hits include “I Fall Down,” “Small Town Big City” and “Please Don’t Go.”
Not to be outdone, Vermont siblings Alex, Andre and Forrest Burnham — ages 18, 16 and 14, respectively — ignited the stage with their own infectious brand of rock and pop tunes, including “Catch Me If You Can” and “Slow Dance,” prompting concert-goers to boogie in the aisles.
“It was an awesome concert, we rocked up a storm,” said dad-turned-teen-music-devotee Edward Tam, who tagged along with his wife and daughter for the show.
“I was in for a pleasant surprise,” he added.

"Josh Golden: Radio Disney’s Next FRIGID Thing"

To millions of adoring tween girls, crooner Josh Golden is the hottie of the moment.

After all, the 15-year-old Missouri native is a favorite to win Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing competion.

Josh: Ready to channel Nanook of the North.
What’s more, his Small Town, Big City single has gone into heavy rotation on stations nationwide— and MTV’s Buzzworthy Blog has given him his props for his witty new track about Miley Cyrus deleting her Twitter account.

But come October 31, Josh won’t be looking hot at all. To the contrary!

Interviewed on WZAP Internet Radio, the budding pop star reveals how he’ll be dressed for Halloween.

“I’m thinkin’ an Eskimo. How cool would that be?” he tells host Zachary Sang.

Josh also chats about his devotion to fright night.

“I do for sure go trick-or-treating. Man, Halloween’s the best,” he says.

“I’ll be in L.A., so I’m so excited. I’ll probably be headin’ up to Toluca Lake. That’s like the best trick-or-treating. That’s where my friend lives.

“Last year we wore plain white T’s and we got a big stereo and played Hey There Delilah as we walked down the street! - BlogTalkRadio

"The Buzz On: Josh Golden... And His Appeal To Miley Cyrus' Deleted Twitter"

Young St. Lunatic (holler at Nelly), Josh Golden might look like a Tiger Beat pinup (crossed with Adam Lambert and Kevin Jonas), but beneath that perfectly messy mop is a genuine singer-songwriter threat.

Golden, who earlier this year released his self-titled debut at the ripe ol' age of 14, makes sugar-rush power pop with an edge that belies his years and genre: His songs are far more dynamic than what you usually get from a lot of teen rookies and helps dispel the stereotype that teen pop is all cheese, no meat. Plus, Josh Golden's got a great sense of humor as evidenced by his musical plea for Miley Cyrus to come back to Twitter. Watch it below, and check out songs from his debut album streaming at Josh Golden's MySpace. And follow him on Twitter at @Joshgoldenmusic.
