"Michigan was the place that formed Kaufman's songwriting. It's long winters and practical sensibility are evident in his songs, with their melancholic feel over classic song structure. The absence of a thriving music scene makes a songwriter go inward and write for the sake of writing. The result is an honest portrayal of a man, struggling with purpose and meaning, painfully self aware, but hoping for something better."
American So and So will be released in January 2013. Josh will be touring in 2013 to support the record.
