Lyrics

Rivermouth

Written By: Josh Romig

Verse 1
I was swimming down at the dock to fill the day
and I saw a saw a fit young sailor walking my way
said he joined the fleet to feel complete and become a real man
but I could see in his eyes he was a little lamb
When I used to breathe I made bubbles on the surface
and when I used to look up all the birds would make me nervous
That’s why I wander round sailing through the seven seas
and hopefully one day you’ll sail to see me

Chorus
Hold on buddy I’m coming to help you out
It’s been a year and a day, I’ll sail through the river mouth

Verse 2
I was swimming down a dark and lonely stream
I thought I saw your face in the shaped sea weed
All the sitting ducks were there to take a look
Laughing when I realised I was caught on a hook

Chorus
Hold on buddy I’m coming to help you out
It’s been a year and a day, I’ll sail through the river mouth
Hold on buddy I’ll be there without delay
We’ll soon be free of the confines we’ll sail into the bay

Verse 3
I was struggling not to be reeled in
Trying to swim while thrashing my fins
All of a sudden realised I had to give in
And to my suprise it was him
And he said

Chorus (times 2)
Hey there buddy I’ve come just to help you out
It’s been a year and a day now we’ve met at the river mouth
I promised you that I’d be here without delay
Now we are free of these confines we can sail into the bay

Outro
Come on ladies sing this song
sing this song
sing this song to me
Tide is turning toc tic toc
toc tic toc
Oh it hasn’t washed away….

Real Boy

Written By: Josh Romig

Verse 1
I was discovered when I was a boy
An old man was trying to carve another toy
When I was young I thought I was real
Everybody looked at me and said I couldn’t feel
I made a decision it didn’t take me long
Without his permission I set sail for the sun

Chorus
You know I never lied even though I tried you know I tried
You know I never lied ‘cause I know what’s right
You know I never lied even though I tried know I tried
You know I never lied ‘cause I know what’s right

Verse 2
You know I’m calling for you calling in the night
And looking at the streets signs from a getaway flight
You know I am running you know I’m riding high
And into the ocean is where I’m gonna dive
You were cold but I was smart
Out we came bursting from a whale’s heart
Know I’m looking at you looking with my eyes
Taking you to places that you’ll never be denied

Chorus
You know I never lied even though I tried know I tried
You know I never lied because I know what’s right
You know I never lied even though I tried know I tried
You know I never lied even though I tried

Bridge
When I wanted food who made it
When I wanted love who was there
When I wanted you who did you choose

For you, you know I will always be there
And yeah I will admit when I was gone I was a bit scared
You carved a piece of wood you thought to make a toy
and from your love escaping you made a real boy.

I dont notice seasons

Written By: JOsh Romig

Verse 1
I don’t know why the grass grows
From a seed to a blade
They don’t grow in the shade
Life is more than fear
Losing raffles and relationships
This will be a good year
Oh yeah

Chorus
I don’t know the reasons anymore
I don’t notice seasons anymore

Verse 2
When nowhere feels like home
You’re better on your own
Said she’d always fall for the nice guy

Chorus
I don’t know the reasons anymore
I don’t notice seasons anymore

Bridge
I don’t know the reasons
Are there any left to find
And when you said you loved me
You were never really mine

She Wanted to Fall

Written By: Josh Romig

Vs1
When I was young
I never needed anyone
But I was wrong
I have to move on
She carried me showed me who to be
She was my home my own

Chorus
She wanted to fall she wanted to fall
A weight off her shoulders
The weight of it all gone

Vs 2
She was the one
The girl I could always depend on
She was the one
Still there
When all was said and done
She's not to blame troubled children play grown up games
We were the same I lost my favourite part of me

Double Chorus
She wanted to fall she wanted to fall down
A weight off her shoulders the weight of it all gone
The face in the mirror wasn’t enough enough
Wanting more needing more in her hands

Bridge
Wading through the darkest night
I was there to save you, there to save you oh
Riding down an inch of light
I was there to save you're life there to save your life
you said goodbye

Chorus
She wanted to fall she wanted to fall
Wanting more needing more
Wanting more needing more in her hands
