Josh Spoon

After years of playing in bands drummer Josh Spoon, wanted to focus on his musical ideas. Getting a laptop and software in 2008, Josh realized he finally had the tools to get his feelings out. Originally wanting to be a hip hop producer Josh Spoon quickly realized there is an audience for more experimental hip hop and electronic music. Josh does't associate with a particular sub-genre but rather created his own to define his work, transport music. This style is more about the feeling of music and taking people on a journey then a series of formulas. Transport music isn't about making great tracks for people to hear but making great songs for people to move to.

Josh Spoon has been quickly gaining an audience since he started performing live in 2012, Josh Spoon is a member of Space Circus and has a residency in Los Angeles. Josh has played many venues in the Los Angeles and Dallas area including, Viper Room, Los Feliz Street Fair and Prophet Bar.

Josh Spoon is not only a musician but an educator too, writing for Dubspot and creating tutorials on his youtube page. Josh feels that helping others is a great way to grow yourself.
