Joshua Beaches is a Singer/Songwriter who lives In Johannesburg, South Africa. His music continues the tradition of the story teller, the wanderer, the saloon singer. There is a dangerous vibe that emanates from his music, as he sings of life’s highs and lows. It serves as testimony in an age without God or churches. The sound draws from influences that range from Roy Orbison and Leonard Cohen to The Growlers and Timber Timbre. The themes are blue and vulnerable, but the music sublimates and elevates with hypnotic, intoxicating grooves. Joshua Beaches performs as a solo artist, or with the full band ‘Joshua Beaches and the Preachers’
