If I have learned anything from this short walk on this earth so far, it is this; If we aren't happy we aren't truly living. Although yes, some of my music can be quite depressing, rather it is a story of why I am a happier and better person now after the storm. I hope to inspire people to live better lives, happier lives filled with laughter, joy and peace. I've come a long way in a short period of time. I was raised in some pretty rough neighborhoods, and even after we got away from it all the teasing and bullying followed me wherever I went. I was always told that I was never going to be anyone special or amount to anything because of the troubles I had in school. Even while serving in the military for six years it didn't stop. After the military I spent a year in Iraq taking yet more abuse, but there was one difference now; I had a guitar and a dream. I had no level of guitar lessons nor vocal lessons, but I felt something happening the more I practiced my guitar. After a few months of strumming some chords, which I basically just figured out on my own, lyrics just started flowing, as if someone was whispering in my ear what to write down. That is the feeling I get at any given moment, and I have to just stop, sit down and write until it's over. I know this sounds absolutely crazy, but I assure you I am not crazy, just inspired. This is what sets me apart from others. I don't sit down and have writing sessions, every word that goes down on the paper, however meaningless to others it may be, to me I feel the world is stopping for me. It's my moment to make a difference, make someones life better through the words and music I create. It's a feeling that I will never let die.
