Bio
Born in Saint-Petersburg Josh Voreau grew up most of his life in Britain and Germany. His
musical talent showed up quite early so that at the age of six Josh started playing the piano, the
instrument he has remained faithful to until today and which leaves a definite mark on his music.
Since then he has composed his own music, which has strongly developed through the years. He
founded several bands, polished his passion for songwriting, gigged around with his last band
The Strawberry Fields, before he decided to go for a solo project. Since 2007 Josh works together with the platinum producer John Ryan and the musician Derek Holt (Climax Blues Band).
Well, the music of Josh Voreau is pure, pristine and crafted and extremely catchy as he just wants to transmit his own feeling of life. He neither chases exaggerated effects, nor has he got direct models who he wants to imitate. He would simply like to convince with his own candid and very catchy style and produce plausible pop songs which aim at the essence of the feeling.
All the ideas for the pieces are derived from real life and his lyrics result from episodes of his
experiences.
Josh has realized the potential of his songs and made music-making the purpose of his life. And he
will catch the attention of everyone who comes within earshot of it.
