Josiah Lee has always loved music, but it wasn't until a few years ago that Josiah sensed a deepening confirmation that God was calling him to use the passion and talent for music that God gave him to glorify God on a deeper level. Soon thereafter, Josiah quit his job as a banker to pursue his calling as a musician and songwriter for God’s glory. Fast forward a couple years, and Josiah’s debut EP has arrived!
The title of Josiah Lee's debut EP is ‘Hope Risen.’ The vision of the Hope Risen EP is to:
1) reach out to this generation through music centered on the hope and salvation that is in Jesus Christ, the risen Lord!
2) urge this generation to turn away from sin, to persevere, and to seek God and his Kingdom.
3) encourage this generation to remain hopeful in God's promises, because God is faithful!
On his debut EP, Josiah draws upon Christian alternative rock influences such as Switchfoot, Hillsong United, and Relient K to create an energetic, rockin’ sound that will get your blood flowing (through your veins), generating an excitement to (worship God and) sing-along with lyrics that cry out for a sense of urgency (for this generation) to take hold of what God is calling us to (receive)– hope and salvation in Jesus Christ, the risen Lord!
