Bio
Joys formed in late 2012 in Moscow, Russia. The band started with a high-spirited EP record ('Indeed'), obviously made under the influence of the British rock tradition. Without pursuing any significant experiments, the band has got fairly a specific sound provided by the British music engineering studio.
The band's sound is largely defined by the British sound producer Daniel Hulme, who began his career at the legendary Factory Records and in recent years has worked with famous artists such as Tricky and Delphic.
As a result, the combination of energy from raw guitars and charming female vocals makes Joys' tunes sound remarkable on the domestic scene with its Europe-wide perspective.
