John R. Parker Jr aka JP (/Worshipper/Psalmist/Musician) native of Queens NY started out doing music when I was about 3 banging on my mothers pots and pans playing along with the 78 records of James Cleveland and I was singing every song on the album. At 5yrs of age I had an intrest in the piano and organ and I would pick out the melodies of the songs on one of those push button organs and started to get more in to it as the years went on. I started playing for my church, Tabernacle of Prayer, the late Apostle Jonnie Washington was the Pastor. He was a wonderful and great man of God. He prayed for me and told me that God was going to anoint me to play and sing and that's just what God did. I then started doing recordings for diffrent artists, playing and singing a lot of house music. My frist big recording was with a house gospel group called "All for Love." I also worked with Warner Brothers Records with an artist named D'rea along with James Hall & Worship and Praise. Some others I worked with are LV, Devante Swing (from Jodeci), Kenny Smoove, M.C Hammer, Case, Rell etc. I am the Worship & Praise Leader at the Center of Hope Internaional in LIC NY where the pastor is Bishop Elect Mitchell G.Taylor. I understand this is one of the things that God has put in me to do. I also have a real passion for music that I know that God has given me and it all done for His glory. I am a manger at the Guitar Center in Springfeild NJ. I am working on a new CD that encompasses various types of music for the building of the Kingdom.
