JParis is a Maryland based Pop-Punk band who boasts enthusiastic ,devoted and ever-growing fan club of more then 1200 people, ages 5 to 35 from 12 different states. JParis released its first full-length CD, "Six -Sixty, Look Closer," on October 21,2003 on BCD Global ,with the support of the retail music giant FYE/Transworld Corporation , and has sold over 2,500 copies with over 80 in-store performances and signings at FYE stores across the country. JParis just released "Talkin to Myself" , the first single from "Six Sixty" to radio stations in September of 2004. Talkin To Myself" is now in regular rotation on Clear Channel stations throughout the region and is charting nationally through CMJ.
JParis has opened for White Lion, Kix, Jackl, Anberlin, and Melee, and has given dozens of high energy performances including : Paramount's Kings Dominion, CBGB's, Delaware State Fair, University of Delaware, Dewey Beach Music Festivals , Shorebird Stadium, Sherlock's Pubs, Jaxx Nightclub, Fitzgerald's, Mulligans, Avalon Theatre, The Venue, Pumpkin Chunkin, Tri State Sports Arena, Diamond State Games... just to name a few .
JParis plays at high schools throughtout the eastern Seaboard as a result of the bands involvement in the HIV Awareness campaigns .
2005 has proved to be our "Breakout " year with Emanon Records based out of Tulsa. Look for our upcoming CD to be released under their label Summer of 2005.
