"Listen to J.Rashad's "Under The Influence"."

J.Rashad is originally from Flint, Michigan, but he moved to L.A. to attend USC and compete in track and field. He's since graduated and decided to pursue a career in music rather than athletics, sharing "Under The Influence," a taste of his upcoming debut project, F.L.A.M.E.. Running with the L.A. influence, Rashad seems to have studied the work of TDE, choosing some slightly experimental production and greeting it with a barrelling flow similar to what we've heard on Kendrick Lamar and Isaiah Rashad tracks. There's plenty of unique personality in there as well, making Rashad a rapper to watch over the next little while. - Hotnewhiphop

Still working on that hot first release.

J.Rashad (Jahmar Rashad) is a hip hop artist from Flint, Michigan. He relocated to LA to attend USC where he competed in track and field and studied real estate development. After completing school he decided to pursue music as it has always been his first passion. As the youngest of 4 men, he grew up watching his older brothers write and perform music and was inspired by their arts. His hopes are to use his music as a vessel to inspire, speak on and improve social and economic issues.
