“I was 5 years old when I learned that music could ease the harsh color line throughout my bi-racial upbringing. It knew no discrimination, just blind, positive unity. At that time, I made a vow to propel that power forward.”
Soul adhesive
I’m a New York-bred, college-educated soul musician whose musical trajectory has been structured by classical study, schooled by hip hop, rocked by rock, and will continue to change – one human experience at a time. The lyrical theme of my music explores love; both its presence and absence.
iRock...
At underground hip hop shows • on TV • with gospel choirs • in classrooms • for social empowerment • a capella • with a band • with a DJ • at national education conferences • over lunch room table beats • with classical musicians • at poetry slams • for me • wherever I am • wherever I’m going.
Give back • move forward
Nothing is worth doing without a purpose. Mine leverages my musical prowess to inspire the next generation to seek and achieve higher learning. If knowledge is the most dangerous weapon man can possess, then I’m a foot soldier in the army of cultivating future lethal leaders. The product of my music will always yield social change.
Uni•VERSE, my debut EP, is available now.
