JR

JR was born in Terre Haute Indiana & has been making rap music since 2002. Over the years he has recorded 6 solo projects & has also appeared on several other artists cds & mixtapes. Digital Dope was his 3rd solo cd & was recorded in Nashville Tennessee with Blackfly Music. During his time in Nashville he got the chance to work artists such as JellyRoll & Charlie P to name a few. After the cd was finished he went on to open up for Lil Wyte, Baby Huey & several other popular rap artists. After making several connections with artists & agents from Tennessee JR has released songs with big name artists such as 2 Chainz, 8Ball & MJG, Juvenile, Gorilla Zoe, Lil Boosie, Juicy J, JellyRoll, Lil Wyte & many more. The "Not Like Me EP" is by far one of the most epic underground albums to drop in 2017 & showcases every angle of JR's skills on the microphone. JR also released his first video for the album self titled "Not Like Me" & was directed by L.A. Luna & mixed & edited by JR himself. His most recent project is titled "Tha Investment" & basically the name for the cd came from the fact that JR has several thousands of dollars wrapped up in exclusive features from famous artists & some of the dopest beats in the game. This cd is more of the mainstream sound & could give any established rap artist in the game a run for there money if they wanted to compete with JR. Aside from making cds & doing shows JR has been slowly building a independent label called Hoodstar Entertainment & currently has 4 upcoming artists (L.A. Luna, Dolla Dolla, Zydelo & Cole B) he has been managing and working with to build there group & solo projects as well. This is a good move because the amount of talent between each artist is unreal. At some point JR plans to sign with a major label that could help back him with the money for some of his future ideas & projects. He is definitely going to be a entrepreneur to keep your eyes on.
