((UNV)) Tell us about your music and what inspires each particular track?

((Jr.Martinez)) Well first of all my music is a direct reflection of who i'm. Every single track i make speak to a side of me that is not so easy to communicated by regular words.

((UNV)) How do you come up with with subject matter?

((JrMartinez)) Well i don't really think of what I'm going to sing or create at the studio. I just do it, It's like sculpting; you just throw stuff together and add sound and little details tha reflects my style until you are done. What's crazy is that i do have some old records from way back in the day. It's inspiring to listen and see the progression of my work; I'm still young and I'm just begining to discover my true potential. It's exciting.

((UNV)) What artists have influenced you, and how?

((JrMartinez)) I would say that stret's artists and most of my friends down in the block. I'm not very well schooled in the fine singers. and really i haven't "followed" any particular artists. I've always been perfoming on undergrown events as Lowriders Car-Shows and block events and radio shows.

((UNV)) What others interests do you have besides music?

((JrMartinez)) Such a loaded question. I have all kind of interests. I like just about everything creative. I'm a regular guy. I love cars,motorcycles, women of course and definitely i love Music! I gotta have it! If i don't have it playing in the background, I'm sitting at my keyboard making some of my own. I love playing the piano and beating on the drums and without mentionated guitar.

((UNV)) What hardships in life have pushed you to succeed and break all expectations?

((JrMartinez)) I've experienced quite a few hard ships, but one that has had the biggest impact on me is my fight against multiple people who hate the work i do and personaly it's hard to handle with the hate around your self. I had always been active in box growing up. I do like to do my best so haters can do their job. God gave me a gift with this music art stuff so I intend on enjoying myself and doing
what i do.

((UNV)) What advice would you give aspiring young artists up there?

((JrMartinez)) Be you, be an individual! There are no duplicates of any of us on this earth; be and individual and create your own sh!t. Don't pay too much attention to what others Folks say, we live in a
world of critics and haters. Belive in your talent and give them a good reason to hate.
