The best way to describe J Teddy to all who appreciate music is, “Inspirational Soul!” His music penetrates your whole being and truly inspires. The music has its foundation built on a life dedicated to music and the lord.
J Teddy realized his gift with music early in his childhood. At the early age of fourteen he assembled and led the Camden Community Choir. It wasn’t long before they gained popularity and became a favorite in the New Jersey and Philadelphia area.
Today, J Teddy is recognized as a premier vocalist, piano player, music producer and songwriter. He is also recognized as a genuine soldier of the lord who continually serves in any way that he can. Musically, he was trained at the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. Through his giving nature J Teddy has been teaching the gift of music for over 10 years. He has graced the stage with equally powerful acts such as CeCe Winans, Celine Dion, Howard Hewitt and many others. J Teddy has performed nationally from New York to Las Vegas and internationally at the Vatican! He is a three time winner at the famed Apollo Theatre! What more can I say?
His first project, “The Answer" jumped on the scene and immediately gained rave reviews. “The Answer", created a loyal fan base that was won over by J teddy's genuine music and musicianship. His second project “Won’t go back", has created a hot buzz and has put J Teddy in demand. “Won’t Go Back", is a fourteen track masterpiece of music. There is a little something for everybody on this CD. The music flows through your soul with Jazz, Gospel, Soul and Latin flavors.
