Born and raised in Kampala,the African pearl's capital,central Uganda for those who dont know,a humble,too grown to mumble,self-styled emcee by the names of JT ,joins the brunch for artists set apart from "recycling" crowd pleasers to crafting lyrical gems and thought provoking music.A few critics and hiphop heads might and have attempted to compare his chain of thought to current concious mainstream artists like AZ,common sense,the roots and the like but his uniquely rhythmic poetry and vibral african chanting has seemed to draw a growing number of listeners not only from the hiphop community but from people of different traditional backgrounds includingasian,african and latin partly and basically because they can relate to his story-line in addition to an all round vibrant stage presence at every show.Having been exposed to music as an art at a young age,JT has had the pleasure of sharing the stage and learning from a roster of talented musical geniuses including Y.N.G,John Mayer,Kardinall Offishall,his home squad Urban-Life,Jose chameleone,Ragga dee,to mention but a few.
