Bio
John was born in New Orleans and then lived in Memphis before moving to Kentucky as a little boy. A Southern Boy couldn't ask for a better set of coordinates for music to get ingrained in his soul.
His small town roots, dedication to family, patriotism, and down-home personality are all evident in his music. His songwriting is extremely current and relevant. His live performances feature not only current and classic country, but also original material, covers of classic and southern rock as well as his own blend of other genres and playing styles.
He got his first guitar in middle school and, just like a lot of teenage wannabe rockers, didn't have the patience to learn. After a twenty year hiatus, he bought another guitar. That was just a couple of years ago. He thought he was buying an inexpensive hobby. There were no lofty goals or other motives. In the short time since then, his music has met some very good reviews both online and from live performances.
John is a full-time soldier, husband, father, and yes...grandfather. His wife, Stephanie, accompanies him sometimes onstage and is his trusted music advisor both perfroming and songwriting.

I started playing music and writing music for my own enjoyment, but due to the overwhelming response from some performances and this website I have begun to view my music as an opportunity. Being a successful songwriter is now more than a hobby, it is a goal. I don't know where my music will lead me, but anyone who wants to come along for the ride is more than welcome!! I Promise it is gonna be a helluva ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!
