Bio
I was born in Kansas City MO but grew up outside Wichita KS. My dad played blue grass guitar as I was growing up. When I was 8 years old, he taught me a few chords and some flat pick'n and that was all it took. . . I became hooked on the guitar ever since. As a senior in high school at Chase County High School in Cottonwood Falls, KS, I was awarded the John Philip Sousa Award (awarded to the best band student).
I've played with John P. Kee and James Bignon (gospel artists); Joe Tucker and Stephanie Grissitt (upcoming urban artists) and am currently studying under Robert Newton (several of his former students are currently playing with major bands/artists).
