BandR&BSinger/Songwriter

I would consider my music heartfelt, conscious, and fun. With some of my songs, I want you to be able to close your eyes and see what I am saying as if you were looking through my eyes. I am not just one genre, I am all genres.

Biography

Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, comes a young man with the drive, talent, and want to be successful in the music industry. My parents influence me everyday and that is why coming from a family with a musical background, stemming from the church, it was destined for me to acquire such talents. In elementary school I played the saxophone which became my primary instrument. I have played the saxophone now for about 15 years and have learned to play several other instruments which include the tuba, harmonica, drums, piano, and guitar. As I was growing up I developed several musical inspirations such as The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, The Police, Otis Redding, Donny Hathaway, Rick James, Whitney Houston, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Aerosmith.

My style of music is very diverse; it includes hip-hop, rock, and soul. What makes me different from other artists is that I don’t mind taking risks in music because if you never take the risk you never know what you can achieve. Living in Atlanta, Georgia, the heart of crunk music, I feel as though my music gives a crunk aura with a mixture of the aforementioned music genres. Combining all genres of music makes a great sound and I aim to be the one to make it work. A famous quote that I live by is that of LL Cool J, “If you don’t think greatness, you’ll never be great.” I think that these words are very encouraging because they help you to stay focused and to keep your eye on the prize. Making music that everyone, everywhere can enjoy, listen, and relate to is my prize and I aspire to win.
